About Me
I am a native Arizonan originally from Ajo, Arizona. I became interested in oil painting after attending a weekend painting class. I loved the feeling of accomplishment after the class was over. A real oil painting, that I did. Wow!
I teach the Bob Ross wet on wet painting style as seen on the TV show "The Joy of Painting". It is a technique that anyone can learn even if you have never painted in your life. Don't worry if you don't have brushes or easels or even feel you have no skill. I have brushes and easels for you to use and you will be surprised at what you are able to accomplish after just one class.
I decided I would become a certified Bob Ross instructor to increase my painting skills and knowledge. Attending the certification classes reenforced the fun and sense of accomplishment that comes with painting an oil painting. This method of painting, the Bob Ross method, really allows you to paint a picture that you can be proud of. Feeling that and seeing that feeling of accomplishment in others is what made me decide to teach. I hope to see you in one of the classes listed below so you too can experience "The Joy of Painting".

Hobby Lobby Store Classes located at 4710 East Ray Road, Phoenix, AZ.
Classes begin at 9:30AM and end approximately at 3:30PM. Lunch break is 45 minutes.

16X20 or 18X24 canvas. See specific class.
Table Easel.
Bob Ross Brushes. See Specific class.
Roll of paper towels (good quality, such as Viva or Bounty).
Wet Ones or Baby Wipes.
Plastic bag for trash.
I furnish all paints and cleaning supplies.
Note: I have a limited number of brush sets and easels available for a $10 rental fee. If you want to attend a class at the Hobby Lobby store but do not have the supplies, use the drop down above the "pay now" button and select the class registration and rental option before hitting the "pay now" button.
